Poverty has a negative impact on the entire African community, but an especially powerful effect on the women and children. Families may have to survive on as little as $1 per day. It is impossible to meet your families needs such as food, water, medicine and health care while still being able to send the children to school. It is our goal to create a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for these children who are in such desperate need. They require a healthy diet, safe water, access to medical care, and a good education. This will enable them to have a chance to grow into productive members of their community, educating others and playing a role in the future of their community.
